Crew's First Lake Experience!

This past Sunday we finally had some decent weather! We went out on our boat for the day. We decided that we would try out one of Crew's floating devices and see if he liked it. Well, that didn't go over so well. After Matt took the time to blow it up, we put Crew in it. The second the water touched him, he screamed so loud! I think the water was still a little too chilly for him. For now, I guess he will stick with sunbathing like his mom ;)

Porter County Fair!

We went with Amber and Justin and the kids to the Porter County Fair this past week. It was so much bigger than the LaPorte fair. We ate lots of delicious fair food and watched Kendra enjoy several different rides. Amber and Justin even talked me into riding the swings with Kendra! She is a brave one, even I could barely stand the ride! We had a great time!

Crew is almost three months old! I took some pictures of us hanging out today. He is becoming such a ham, always cheesing it up for the camera! I can't believe how quickly he is growing! It goes way too fast!

Fun at the Fair!

The LaPorte County Fair started this past week. My mom and dad, Amber, Justin, and the kids, and Matt, Crew, and I all went to it. We ate lots of delicious food and played several games. I even won Kendra a toy at the mouse game;) Justin and Kendra rode the Ferris Wheel. Kendra also rode lots of other rides. It was very fun!

This past week my little cousin, Allena, was in a softball tournament. Matt, Crew, Caden, and I went to several of her games. We got to see her pitch one game and bat several times. She did great!

This past Thursday, July 16, was my dad's 50th birthday. My mom threw him a party at Gelsosomos Pizza in Chesterton. We all had a great time visiting, eating, and watching him open presents. He received a lot of nice gifts, especially the walker with all the "old age" necessities he will soon be needing...haha. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated. We had a GREAT time! HAPPY 50TH DAD! We love you very much!!!

These are some pictures I took of our little smiley guy hanging out at the house. We also went to Aunt Amber and Uncle Justin's house to play. Crew loved the swing so much, he fell asleep in it. Aunt Amber bought him a swing for our house too! We are very excited to put it up so Crew can play on it!

Last week we went and visited my best friend Chrissy. She just had a baby girl, Elaina, last week. She is so cute! Lincoln and Crew look HUGE next to her! They were all so adorable!
