On Saturday we went back to my parent's house for the Wiseman (my mom's family) Christmas. We had a great time visiting with everyone that we do not get to see as often as would like. We ate lots of yummy food and opened gifts. Once again, Crew got a ton of toys! We had an awesome time hanging out with everyone! We miss them so much when they are away!

SO CUTE!!! Love them all so much!!!

On Christmas Day we always go to my parent's house after we open our presents. My mom makes a delicious breakfast and then we open gifts. The kids all got so spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa this year. They each received a ton of new toys and clothes. We loved everything! It was such a fun day to spend together. Later on that night we went and hung out at my sister and brother-in-laws new house. It was a great day!

Santa!

Friday morning we woke up to find out that Santa had come to our house! He left us stockings filled and lots of presents! I must have been really good because Santa brought me an iphone ;) Matt got pj pants, giftcards, a scarf, and more. Crew got lots of new toys and clothes, including his own cellphone so he doesn't always have to eat mine. It was a great morning!

It is our family tradition that we go to Grandma and Grandpa Schnick's house on Christmas Eve. However, last year we started the tradition of not only going at night, but also going in the morning. So, this year we went in the morning and Grandma Schnick made a delicious breakfast casserole. Then, we all went to church together. After church we all went back to their house and had a great dinner and opened gifts. We all got wonderful gifts, especially the handmade
quilt for Matt and I, and the handmade blanket and pillow for Crew. After presents, we all went downstairs while Grandpa Schnick showed us old slides of the kids growing up. It was such a special night!

Crew's Baptism

This past Monday night was a very special night for our family. Crew was baptized at the church we got married at, Bethany Lutheran, in LaPorte. We have been attending church regularly and it was very important for us to have Crew baptized. It was a very small, but special ceremony. Pastor Meyer even gave Crew his first bible. It was so sweet. Both of our families were able to attend. After the baptism we all had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Schnick's house. We are very thankful for everyone that attended and made it such a special night. Crew also got a shout-out about how grateful Pastor Meyer was to do his baptism at the Christmas Eve sermon at church ;)
