Last weekend my best friend Allison and I competed in our first 5K! It was held in downtown Chesterton. It was called the Sleighbell 5K. I called Allison several months ago and asked her if she would do it with me. Being the good friend that she is, she agreed to! Despite it being a bit chilly, we were really glad we did it! The race seemed quick because we talked the entire time! We decided that we are going to continue this and sign up for more races! Thanks for being such a great sport Al and doing it with me! :)
