This past Thursday, Matt and I flew out to California to visit our friends Drew and Elysia. We have never been to California, so we were excited not only to see our friends and get away from the cold, but to see a new place. California was just how we had imagined. It is so beautiful!!! We spent the entire day Friday driving around Hollywood. As most of you know, I am obsessed with my tabloids, so this was right up my alley. Drew was a great tour guide. He knew where everyone famous lived and could tell us anything about everything. We got to see several famous people's houses, as well as where several movies and television shows had been filmed. Friday night we went to an amazing restaurant right on the ocean, Chart House. The steak dinner was so good! After dinner we took a limo into Hollywood and went to a bar/restaurant called The Saddle Club. They had a bull you could ride (don't worry no of us embarrassed ourselves by riding it!). Then, we went to a place called Villa. This is one of the most exclusive clubs in Hollywood. Drew was nice enough to reserve us VIP the week before, otherwise you cannot get in. It was very cool to experience this hot spot since that is where a lot of celebrities go. It was so fun! Saturday and Sunday we laid low by hanging out at the hotel pool, beach, and doing a little more sight seeing. We had such a great time on the trip. We are definitely planning on going back!
