Doctor Appointment

This past week we took Crew for his nine month check up. We did not get as much information from the doctor as would have liked because we had to see a new doctor. The new rule at the office is if a doctor is on call with the hospital, they cannot see patients in the office. The new doctor was nice, but definitely not as informative as our regular pediatrician. Everything looked good on Crew. He weighed 19lbs 14 oz and was 29 3/4" long. He is continuing to grow bigger and bigger so I am assuming he is still high in percentiles. Unfortunately, it seems as though every time we go for a wellness check, Crew catches all the germs in the office and gets sick. So, Monday we were back to the doctor and Crew has strep and a double ear infection. He has been home sick all week. He is on two antibiotics. He is starting to show signs of improvement, so hopefully he will be back to normal soon. It was sad to check out at the doctor because we are not going to see him again (other than a follow up appointment for being sick) until he is ONE!!! That is scary! We can't believe our little man is already one. The boys have grown so much, but it has been so fun! We are currently planning a family vacation with my sister and her family over Spring Break. Oh the words sound so nice right now as I look out at the snow! Have a good weekend everyone!
