During the first weekend in October, Matt and I flew out to Vegas, along with a bunch of our other friends, for Brandon and Jess' wedding. We love Brandon and Jess~Matt has been great friends with him for a long time. We went out there a couple days before the wedding to hangout with everyone. It was so nice to relax, gamble, and lay by the pool. Their wedding was in the Valley of Fire. It was crazy because it hadn't rained there since last January. As soon as we stepped foot onto the desert, it poured rain and was windy as could be. The ceremony lasted 15 minutes, all of which it rained. As soon as they said "I do" and kissed, it stopped raining and was beautiful out! It was so weird! They say rain on your wedding day brings good luck though~so we all enjoyed it as much as we could! Of course, everyone looked great and it was so fun taking pictures out there. The location was literally out in the middle of absolutely no where~it was so pretty and such a unique location. The reception was beautiful. We had a great meal and visited with everyone. The next day we got to see Matt's Aunt Denise and Uncle Wayne, whom live out there. Denise showed us around and took us to lunch. It was so nice catching up and visiting with her. We definitely needed that trip. It was so nice to get away and spend time with such good friends and family. We are so happy for Brandon and Jess! They are perfect for one another!
