TEAM WISEMAN WALKERS: WALKING TO END BREAST CANCER!
The weekend of September 26-27, 2009, my Step-Grandma Jane, my Aunt Darcy, my Aunt Denise, my mom, and I will all be participating in a very special event called "The Weekend to End Breast Cancer® benefiting St.Vincent Foundation." This is a 60km (38 mile) walk that is aimed to help change the world. This benefit, put on by my Aunt Darcy's hospital, is very important to my family because we have had family members effected by ovarian, lung, breast, bladder, and prostate cancer. We are all participating in this event because we want to help make a change. Our team name is the "Wiseman (my mom's maiden name) Walkers." Our team goal is to raise $10,000. That means that each of us has to raise at least $2,000. I am asking for donations for our team. Any little bit would help.
